Hello and welcome to Munchkins!
We are a Mother and Daughter team on a mission to bring great food, coffee and soft play to everyone who has a little munchkin to entertain.
Munchkins is a fun and friendly soft play cafe with a 2 level adventure play area for under 5’s. We also have a separate baby area for under 1’s and an imaginative play room for those who love to pretend play.
So whether it’s a mums catch up with friends, grandparents on childcare duty or dads who are just looking for somewhere to go, Munchkins has got you covered!
MEET THE TEAM
Julie - Owner
Mum to Kerry and Nanny to Maya and Charlie. Julie is the heart of our family at home and the heart of Munchkins!
Julie is NVQ level 3 qualified in childcare and has had extensive SEN training. She has many year’s experience in childcare and has previously worked as a childminder and special needs teaching support. You may recognise her from our previous pack away soft play Little Ducks which lead to us opening Munchkins!
Julie is also a qualified chef, she has worked for some amazing hotels catering their afternoon teas and desserts, so expect some yummy bakes here at Munchkins!
Kerry - Owner
Mummy to her own little munchkins – Maya and Charlie (we’re sure you will be seeing plenty of them!), Kerry survived the early days with ‘2 under 2’ and knows all about the importance of a strong coffee after minimal sleep!
Prior to owning Munchkins, Kerry ran her previous business for 15 years. You will see her working in the café but she is also the one at the end of the emails answering your questions and party enquiries. Always come and say hello, as its lovely to meet the faces behind the emails!
